A Home Inspection is an important part of your real estate transaction. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. No matter if this is your first or fifth home, you need a QualifiedExperienced Licensed Professional to inspect your property, so you can be an informed and educated buyer.

You have heard the expression, "a home is the largest investment you will ever make".  This is as true today as it ever was.

A home inspection is an important part of the process as well.  I  take some of the stress out of the transaction, by providing my clients with an unbiased, third party examination of the home and its systems.  I work only for you and have no other interest in the transaction.  I may have been recommended by your agent, but I am working for you, my client.

No home is perfect, not even a brand new one.  Most of the defects I discover are easily repaired by licensed contractors. The most important service I provide, is giving my clients the information they need to make an informed decision. Typically, after the inspection, my clients discuss the findings in the report with their Realtor and present a list of items that they would like to have repaired, to the seller.  Ask your agent to explain the Inspection Clause in the contract if you have any questions about the process.

The inspection itself will take between two to three hours depending on the size and age of the home.  A vacant home will take less time that a fully furnished one.  I encourage my clients to accompany me during the inspection.  This allows me to explain the systems in the home, as well as familiarize you with the locations of system shut offs, filter locations etc.

At the end of the inspection, I will discuss all of the findings in the report and present you with a verbal summary. The inspection report, complete with digital photographs are delivered via email within 24 hours of the inspection.  If you have any questions about the report, you can contact me for a consultation at no additional charge.

Let me help you avoid the unexpected by providing a complete and thorough inspection report, complete with photographs.
